FALCO-SEED, is the result of research and study aimed at finding increasingly cutting-edge solutions to optimize field work while reducing operating costs and, at the same time, always turning an eye to sustainability. Designed and built to combine the three tillage operations of cultivation, seeding and soil mixing, in a single work phase. FALCO – SEED is the result of two key pieces of equipment: the now already well-known FALCO, i.e., a disc cultivator for tillage, and a precision seed drill in Line. The disc seeder FALCO – SEED, can also be used for direct seeding on hard ground, ensuring uniform seed distribution. This will not only protect the seed from the weather, but at the same time improve moisture retention and minimize the displacement of the seed, which is buried almost immediately. We would thus achieve more uniform germination and crop growth.

With a single pass to cultivate, seed and mix, our machine reduces stress on the soil and takes advantage of the natural resources already present.
In addition, the ability to easily adjust depth and the ability to distribute seed accurately even at high speeds allows the operator to adapt the disc seeder to the specific needs of different crops and soil conditions, thereby further increasing operating efficiency.
MINIMUM TILLAGE (Minimun Tillage)
In order to meet the new requirements in the areas of sustainability and efficiency of natural and also economic resources, FALCO – SEED has been conceived and designed from the perspective of conservation agriculture and therefore intended for the technique of minimum tillage.
Minimum tillage is a tillage system that minimizes soil disturbance. From a geological perspective , this approach helps preserve soil structure, limiting erosion and improving the soil’s ability to retain water. This is especially important in soils prone to erosion and desertification.
From an agronomic point of view, minimum tillage allows the maintenance of organic matter and promotes soil biodiversity. This approach not only improves soil fertility in the long run, but also allows for a reduction in the use of chemical fertilizers. Our new FALCO – SEED supports minimum tillage by reducing the number of passes over the soil, promoting more efficient and sustainable agriculture.
PATENT APPLICATION DEPOSITED
The FALCO-SEED seeder disc seeder mounts a series of innovative independent bodies that activate a simultaneous distribution system for both seed and fertilizer(Patent Application Filed). In addition, this unique configuration allows for effective seeding and mixing of soil and seed ensuring immediate, homogeneous and rich coverage of natural resources. On all of our independent bodies, sealed bearings are mounted, made with a protective cover closure of the bearing itself, to prevent dust and other microparticles from seizing the hub(Patent Application Filed). The bearing itself provides for the possibility (as needed by the operator) of periodic greasing of the bearing, for a far longer in-service life than the currently commercially available(Patent Application Filed).
ISOBUS SYSTEM.
FALCO-SEED (in the integrated version), is equipped with the ISOBUS electronic system.
The ISOBUS system is an international standard for communication between tractors, agricultural implements and other devices, allowing seamless interoperability between machines from different manufacturers. ISOBUS ensures that the seed drill can communicate and exchange data with the tractor in a uniform and compatible manner, using a single control terminal in the cab. This will allow:
Control seed distribution accurately and automatically, reducing errors and waste;
Monitor parameters such as seeding rate, depth, density and seed flow;
Obtain real-time data on machine performance, facilitating job management and optimization;
Simplify the management and diagnosis of faults or malfunctions through a standardized interface;
Monitor the operational safety status of the machinery, reducing the risk of accidents and damage to both the machinery and the operator.
