FALCO-SEED, is the result of research and study aimed at finding increasingly cutting-edge solutions to optimize field work while reducing operating costs and, at the same time, always turning an eye to sustainability. Designed and built to combine the three tillage operations of cultivation, seeding and soil mixing, in a single work phase. FALCO – SEED is the result of two key pieces of equipment: the now already well-known FALCO, i.e., a disc cultivator for tillage, and a precision seed drill in Line. The disc seeder FALCO – SEED, can also be used fordirect seedingon hardground, ensuring uniform seed distribution. This will not only protect the seed from the weather, but at the same time improve moisture retention and minimize displacement of the seed, which is buried almost immediately.
Disc cultivators are a versatile solution for surface tillage, ideal for preparing the seedbed and managing crop residues. Equipped with concave discs on independent anchors, they cut and mix the soil, improving its structure and evenly distributing organic residues.
Compared with regular cultivators, disc models offer a significant advantage in fuel savings and reduced operating costs. They can operate at high speeds, covering large areas quickly reducing the risk of flooding, making them perfect for soils rich in plant residues.
